STATEMENT

The idea to create this series of artwork was born out of my experience with architectural glass design, decorative painting, realistic drawing, digital art and animation. My interest in combining artistic expression with architectural glass technology led me to search for innovative approaches, resulting in the development of unique ways to exploit the technical opportunities media offers. Some of these techniques include exciting ways to use opaque, translucent and reflective layers to express movement, fluidity and mutability, and cutting edge technologies such as merging UV treated digital printing directly on glass with drawing, silvering and laminating.
